Material(s): 3” by 5” index card or piece of paper
1. Fold the top-left corner of the paper so that it lines up with the side of the paper. Then unfold.
2. Fold the top-right corner of the paper so it lines up with the left side. Then unfold. (You should now have an x where the fold-lines meet)
3. Pinch the left and right sections of the x, bringing them together. This should result in a triangle on top, push down on this, and you have the head of your frog.
4. Carefully grab the first layer of the triangle head on the left, and pull it up. Then fold it so that it meets with the bottom layer of the triangle.
5. Repeat step 4 for the right side. This creates the frog’s two front legs. 6. Fold the right edge of the frog so that it meets the center.
7. Fold the left edge so that it meets with the left edge in the center.
8. Now, fold the bottom of the of the paper up to the top of the triangle head.
9. Fold the part you just folded down and in half.
10. Turn it over. Your frog is complete. To make it jump, lightly place your finger on it’s back, pressing down slightly. Slide your finger off and watch it hop! (or flip over)
